Because really if you roast a child incorrectly you’ll dry out the meat… obviously broiling is the way to go.
I’ll have to get an FAQ up eventually but in case people ask, and some have, in my view the bears aren’t born evil, or addicted to narcotics (or natural fibers with designer labels) or whatever… behaviors are learned and they/we are a product of our environment. I can’t imagine how many acts of evil it would take for those horns to grow though
Today’s vote incentive is another preview from comic 11 (Death to the Cone!) available only in Vol 1 of Bear Nuts. To anyone who ordered a copy and had a chance to read it, I’d love to hear your opinion on Tanked’s new talent or Evil’s new toy
For more info about the book check out our distributer DMF Comics.

There’s always dismemberment, slaughter, carnage, and decapitation. Which one will he choose? Which one will YOU choose? I vote for Carnage!
August 17th, 2009 at 12:03 am
woo am i first? hehe evil, your so EVIL!!! so how are you doing? and hows the baby? how much longer till the lil ones born???
August 17th, 2009 at 12:05 am
Evil, Evil, Evil…you’re going to push Death too far pretty soon.
August 17th, 2009 at 12:06 am
^
Get in line.
And to the author, make sure Evil does not get his paws on your newborn!
August 17th, 2009 at 12:07 am
whoops, make that ^^
August 17th, 2009 at 12:17 am
That was great. And I’m with Death, Evil’s a nut job, lol
Anyway, I did get The Book of Prozac today! I must say, I loved Death to the Cone. Right from seeing all the uses the cone has up until the laugh out loud ending. As soon as I saw Evil drawing an E on his ‘toy’ I had high hopes that we’ll be seeing it again. Also, Tanked’s talent, adorable! And I must say it was so sweet to see him worried about Lech. I take it they’re TV watching buddies? And it was nice to see the lengthy Bio for Prazac as well as the sketch art. Over all I loved the book and it was bigger than I though it’d be. I was thinking it would be small like those garfield collected comics, I’m glad it wasn’t
Anyway, can’t wait to see the next story line!
August 17th, 2009 at 12:21 am
Evil learns a valuable lesson about trust. He can’t let the other know and will have to leave no hint the next time. You can’t vanish the evil inside a heart in a sngle day. Anyway, I wonder if the horn would fall off if he’s current environment would force him to change his way.
August 17th, 2009 at 12:53 am
I want to know how Evil got those horns:P
And I got The Book of Prozac last week:D It was awsome^^, Now the sticker of Tanked is on the back of my iPod! I love Tanked:)
And by the way, the look on Evils face when he was holding his new toy on their way back was sooo adorable:D
This is my favorite web comic! I will definitely buy the next book too!
August 17th, 2009 at 3:23 am
Ooh, a promising cliffhanger! ^^
Death was pissed off, but he surely hasn’t lost control yet. He just wanted to cut this off, ’cause Evil would have never promised that voluntarily. I just love the last panel. His face and the claws - he has some new plans I think.
About Death to the Cone: I think it was great. At the beginning I thought they would try to search the key for the cone, but then it became much better. ^^
Tanked’s drawings are adorable, I hope we’ll get to see some of them in the future. Or maybe you let Tanked draw some things vor the vote incentives! I believe he would love to do this.
Evil’s new toy is… interesting. I wonder what he might do with it… what evil things you can do with… oh wait… O_o
August 17th, 2009 at 3:36 am
I’ve read through this comic and it’s just amazing! The cuteness mixed with the bizarre twists; Pure love!
Sending some love from Sweden: Jag älskar det här (that’s swedish ;D)
August 17th, 2009 at 3:51 am
LOL
Your sense of humor and the bears personalities make this all the more hilarious. I prominently let out one of those annoyed “HAUH”s when I read that last panel.
August 17th, 2009 at 4:21 am
Beautifully done as always, gotta love the last panel - it leaves Sooooooooooooooo many doors open for cooking methods
August 17th, 2009 at 6:13 am
Fricassee
August 17th, 2009 at 6:59 am
Hmm. Interesting. You imagine Evil being a normal bear, Tanked being a sober bear, Prozac not dependant on pills… But what about Death? I mean, was he a normal bear at some point? And what on earth happened that enabled him to zap people with blue lightning at random?
Maybe its static electricity?
August 17th, 2009 at 7:58 am
Ooooh, no roasting…do I hear toddler sushi? XD
I absolutely love the last panel, I fell in love with how you drew the eyes!
I hope we see how he gets the upside-down pentagram soon, and maybe pics of the baby when it’s born posted here!
August 17th, 2009 at 8:13 am
I was also someone who had ordered the book, and it had arrived today too. Death to the Cone is hilarous, I loved it, I also found Tanked’s drawing ability cute and Evil’s new toy amusing (I wonder what he has planned for it).
Thank you for creating such a great comic
August 17th, 2009 at 8:39 am
Mmmm… Sushi can be a good option, too… Anyway I just wish that nothing (too) bad happen to the bears, as I love them aaaall ! Btw, I’m curious to learn about Tanked’s past. We have seen earlier that he has had a good education ‘n all. Plus, he is my fav’ ! (^v^)
August 17th, 2009 at 8:53 am
Watch out for the ‘the finger’ Like ET’s glowing finger, but worse.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:19 am
Hahaha! Broil the child! Gotta love that last panel. Can’t wait to see what the next arc is.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:34 am
Grilling a child will probably be more healthy anyway evil!
(Wonder which George Foreman grill you’d need for a big meal like THAT?)
August 17th, 2009 at 9:47 am
I love Tanked’s new tallent ^_^ It’s adorable. And now we know for certain that he can’t talk (oops, spoiler?). I also lol’d at Death’s first reaction to Tanked panicked gestures, and the fact that Tanked knew better than to go to Prozac for help (okay done spoiling). And honestly, Evil’s new toy scares me, but he looked so happy, I’d let him keep it. Plus I’m not gonna be the one to take it from him; let him keep it.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:50 am
For some reason whenever my boyfriend reads this comic out loud he gives Death a Batman voice. XD!
August 17th, 2009 at 9:52 am
Wow. Evil’s look in the last panel really is frightening. Totally demonic. I just recieved Vol 1 in the mail. Superb quality book and it was fun going back over the stories.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:57 am
We won’t roast a child…but we will find otehr ways to eat them…
And the death touch is a creepy threat in the form of one finger…the finger , THE FINGER!!
August 17th, 2009 at 9:59 am
Promise or I’ll Death touch ya!!!
Haha classic….
August 17th, 2009 at 10:04 am
Dunn-dunn-duuuuuuunnnnnn
August 17th, 2009 at 10:19 am
Daamn Evil’s smile did give me chills. O.o
August 17th, 2009 at 11:21 am
I love Tanked’s talent! So cute… especially at the end with Prozac freaking out as a result of it. The look on Tanked’s face (a mixture of embarassed & “oh poop”) was priceless. As far as Evil’s new toy, it looks promising. Only time will tell, I guess.
So I’m guessing that Death has at least two versions of his touch? He can either knock you unconcious or he can kill you. I’m guessing that either touch has different ramifications depending on his mood & the durability of the touchee.
August 17th, 2009 at 2:06 pm
No roasting… ok. Sushi anyone? California Kid Roll Yum….
August 17th, 2009 at 2:08 pm
is it just me or is the first three panels a great pull my finger gag?
August 17th, 2009 at 2:31 pm
I think deep frying them would be better, fattening, but better.
August 17th, 2009 at 3:05 pm
Show of hands: Who thinks Gimp Bear is really a Girl?
August 17th, 2009 at 6:41 pm
My mom read my copy of volume one, and she thinks it’s hilarious. Dad tried, but he doesn’t think it’s funny at all….great, I just realized my brother’s cat rumpled the corner of my sketch. T.T
August 17th, 2009 at 7:32 pm
Well….he did promise he wouldn’t roast a child,Death Bear didn’t saying anything about not boiling or frying kids lol.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:05 pm
Hey evil if your looking for some cooking tips try what the Hawaiian Islanders do and dig a pit fill it with coals then put banana leaves (which you can get off the internet) down. Then put the hog tied and sedated (or not it’s up to you) toddler on the banana leaves and then cover him with some more leaves and then cover him up with dirt not only will it mask the smell but there won’t be any fire or anything for some one to see. Plus you can leave it be while it cooks and make an appearence somewhere else well and away from your cooking meal. Bwahahahahahahaha revenge is then complete well get to it evil I don’t have all century to wait.
August 17th, 2009 at 9:40 pm
@superbeastor
i would like to know how u know this lol
August 17th, 2009 at 9:58 pm
When ever I look at the last panel I think of, How the Grinch stole Chirstmas.
He’s a mean one Mr. Evil.
Also Tanked talent made me smile, and it turned him into my 2nd favorite bear.
Oh yeah and the Death Bear sketch is AMAZING! It is hanging on my wall.
August 18th, 2009 at 1:16 am
+ Darkside points
August 18th, 2009 at 1:17 am

August 18th, 2009 at 11:24 am
What his star symbol means anyway?
August 18th, 2009 at 11:44 am
Just got the books, love the “Death to the cone”, Tanked looks so funny with the chip on his head, and evil looks so adorably.. evil holding his new toy on pg 89.
@Ana, the upside-down star is a symbol assocated with / used by Satanists.
August 18th, 2009 at 7:43 pm
I have been avid follower of comic for some time now, but have never commented yet. Wanted to express the hilarity and excellent work of the artist and creator of this comic.

August 20th, 2009 at 10:13 am
He got the scar in the fire (while he was on the bike) probably.
August 20th, 2009 at 10:14 pm
Death is so my favorite, and Evil needs serious therapy.
September 27th, 2009 at 6:03 pm
I take it back about Death being nice. D: Evil > Death. But they’re both pretty awesome either way. 8D Cut ‘em up, Evil!
